The question isn’t, “Can you make money from blogging?” it’s “How can you make money from blogging?” The answer is a definitive yes. You can absolutely make money from blogging look at how much I made last week.
Can you make money from blogging?
There are several questions you need to ask yourself. They may not be the questions you think.
1. Do I have enough belief in myself to commit to this venture?
2. Can I be open-minded to explore different options?
3. Am I willing to put the work in?
Let’s pick these questions apart, one by one.
Can you make money from blogging? Only if you believe you can.
I have heard it many times:
I can’t write well.
I don’t know computers.
I don’t know what to blog about.
If you want to become a successful blogger, you need to overcome your own objections.
Fact 1: There are people that are millionaire bloggers who can’t write well. Not even a little. They have heart, perseverance and it shows. Besides, blogging isn’t just about writing. You can share photos, videos, audio and more.
Fact 2: Building a computer and blogging are two totally different tasks. It is like saying, “I don’t know how to build a car, so I won’t even try to drive!” The car is a vehicle to get you somewhere you want to go, just like a blog. You don’t need to build the vehicle, just learn how to drive and get going.
Fact 3: There are plenty of ways to blog, and an infinite number of topics, if you know how to tap into it. Amazon best-sellers, magazine topics, and forums are great places to look, just to get started. Start by choosing a target audience. Only blog to them, their likes, wants, feelings and pain.
Can you make money from blogging? Being open-minded.
If you have no experience with blogging, you have have a tendency to think, “Well THAT will never work!” Blogging is a mix of art and science. The science part of it is testing to see what works. If you see some weird idea, instead of benching it, evaluate it. Give it a try if you feel comfortable with it.
This is the spot that trips 95% of people up. They don’t even ask themselves this question. They jump in, blog a few times, then give up. There are a lot of orphaned blogs out there.
Putting the work in means everything: making a commitment, planning, setting goals, sticking to those goals, changing things up when something isn’t working, getting help if you need it.
There is no guarantee that you blog will work; I can’t sugarcoat reality for you. However, if you work hard and keep going, the odds of success go up dramatically.
The odds of winning if you do nothing: 0
The odds of winning the lottery: 1 in 259 MILLION.
The odds of succeeding in a business: 1 in 10.
Which one would you put your money on?
I would definitely go with starting a business. What would you do?
